Static website is a website that does not require any database to be hosted on the server. In contrast, dynamic websites have a database or other storage mediums that store data and other information about users. The two types of websites are static and dynamic.

Dynamic websites are more complex than static websites because they have to load all their contents in real time when requested by the browser. They have many advantages like faster loading times, no need for re-downloading of entire website when you make changes to pages/files etcetera.”
